Druridge Bay is a 7 mile long coastal bay stretching from Cresswell in Northumberland through to the picturesque village of Amble.
It includes 3 and a half miles of pristine beach and shaded sand dunes along with a huge freshwater lake surrounded by woods and countryside.
You can take a pleasant walk around the huge lake & through the meadows set in this magnificent Northumberland Coast country park.
The large car parks are brilliant for leaving your car in relative safety, while you take time to explore the surrounding beach and countryside as well as taking part in windsurfing, canoeing and sailing with courses that are held every summer. The tourist visitor centre has a reasonably priced cafe as well as a shop which is open at weekends.
The visitor centre is suitable for wheelchair users while just outside is a young children’s play area that is literally just a few minutes from the dunes where you can enjoy sheltered picnics.
The following gallery will be used to share both current & future photos of this fantastic section of our Northumberland Geordie coastline.
