A.D.A.P.T. North East  stands for – Action by Differently Abled People in Tynedale and is committed to the rights of people living in Tynedale & Hexham with disabilities.

Alzheimer’s Society Services Newcastle Upon Tyne  for nearly three decades the Alzheimer’s Society has given hope to thousands of people affected by dementia in Newcastle Upon Tyne & the surrounding North East Engand areas.

Children North East enables and helps children and young people in the North East of England to reach their full potential and to ease the pressures of life’s inequalities.

Contact A Family North East for families with disabled children: information on rare syndromes and disorders.

North East Churches provides a single database all of the 1448 individual listed faith communities in the North East region.

North East Stroke Clubs provide a meeting place for stroke victims and their carers to come together and share experiences.

North Sea Volunteer Lifeguards Service provide extra volunteer cover supporting the lifeguard service in North Tyneside.

Pledge support for the Sir Bobby Robson foundation will help fund the Sir Bobby Robson cancer trial and research centre at Newcastle Upon Tyne’s Freeman Hospital. The reseach centre will be focused on early detection and treatment of cancer and the clinical trials of new cancer drugs with the main aim of helping people beat the killer disease.

St Oswald’s Hospice which is based in Gosforth in Newcastle Upon Tyne provides free hospice care for adults and children suffering from terminal illnesses & their purpose-built facilities offer a range of flexible services to North East families.

Tyneside Samaritans are available 24 hours a day to provide confidential support to those who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair.
