First & foremost, please remember that this is a Geordie orientated community! Each and every new ”Geordie” user will hopefully help make everyone’s visit to the various Geordie Spaces an enjoyable one.
Have fun with your space. Do Not use your Geordie space to bully, harrass, defame or exploit anyone.
We will not hesitate to delete the account of any user who
- Is clearly not a Geordie, has no connection to Geordieland or who is offering content that is not applicable to Geordies.

If you use the community (Geordie Spaces) service you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Basic Terms & Conduct.
- You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your screen name.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
- You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links (‘Content’) that you submit, post, and display in the community.
- You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
- You must not, in the use of community pages, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
- Only use the service for the purpose it is designed, if we find that you are using the service to store large files we will enforce a fair use policy and limit your storage space.
- Do not post or link to pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- You are not allowed to display Google ads on your own Geordie space. If at any time you would prefer to monetise your own space then we can discuss (very cheap) hosting under your own domain name or a sub-domain name ie. yourname.howaythelads.com
- Any loss of or damage to data you upload is not the responsibility of the owners of the howaythelads.com domain name & services.
- Use of this service is at your own risk.
Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your Geordie Spaces community account.
While Geordie Spaces prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you understand and agree that we cannot be responsible for the content posted on our web site by third parties and, despite our best efforts to delete such content as soon as it comes to our attention, you may be exposed to such materials and that you use the service at your own risk.
We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Geordie Spaces service for any reason, without notice at any time.
We reserve the right to alter these terms of use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the terms of use, we will notify you via an appropriate method. What is a ‘material change’ is at our discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.
How To Register For Your Own Geordie Space
To register to set up a free Geordie Space of your own please use the comment box below to tell us a little about yourself (which will help us to weed out non genuine applications) and make us aware of your preffered username which will be your Geordie space url. eg: howaythelads.com/geordiespaces/myusername. You can also use the comment space below to ask any questions.
When we set up your space we will open it as a separate wordpress and send you your password, after that you will be in control of the design, layout and how you use your space.
