The featured Geordie sports stars have managed to reach the top level of their particular sport, whether that is an Olympic, world or commonwealth medal or representing their country in their chosen sports.

We understand that there are of course more Geordie sportsmen and women who have reached the pinnacle of their sports careers, however we have decided to only show those where we have been able to source a decent video clip that shows the particular Geordie sports legends in action.
