We noticed a while ago that adding
more than one or two videos to a particular page could have the effect
of slowing the page load on some peoples computers.
While this was not a problem when we
did not have many video links to share with our visitors, it has now
become apparent that there are many more Geordie orientated videos
that are worth sharing.
In order to accomplish this (without
it having to much impact on the loading speed of our directory pages)
we decided that we needed another way of sharing the load.
Hence
Geordie TV has been born !!
Now (in most cases) we will simply be
able to provide a link from the relevant section of the directory to
its relevant place in this section thereby giving you the visitor the
opportunity to view more pages and videos without the need for a long wait while
the page loads.
Where we have completed moving
videos from a particular section we will emphasise the category in the left menu
bar.
Please bear with us
while we finish transferring the videos from our individual directory
pages to this new section.
