A unique auction and ball in joint memory of Geordie Gem Sir Bobby Robson and breast cancer campaigner Sally Balch was held this October in an attempt to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer & the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
The Sir Bobby Breakthrough Auction ran online for two weeks from the 8th to the 23rd of October 2011 and was endorsed and backed by Sir Bobby’s Widow Lady Elsie Robson along with many members from the football fraternity who donated many items of sports memorabilia ….
