Guest Book

Welcome To The New Directory Guestbook

It’s been a while since we had a guest book as we had to close the old one due to spam comments & links from people who had no interest in Geordies or Geordieland, however, because we now moderate all comments in order to protect our visitors from nasty spam links we thought it was time to open the guestbook once more.

Please use the comment box below to add your own greeting.

  14. US Charlie

    Aye! Canny stuff this!

I’ve been to the “Toon” 5x’s in the last 2yrs, and I can’t get enough of the people and the places.

Lots of famous rock musicians were born and raised in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and the surrounding suburbs. I’m on a quest to find the childhood homes of Mark Knopfler in Gosforth, and John McLaughlin’s in Whitley Bay. If it wasn’t for a Geordie (Chas Chandler), the world would never have known Jimi Hendrix!

I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but I truly appreciate the Geordies.

    Cheers!

    1. Geordie Directory

Pleased to meet you Charlie & thanks for the links – Much appreciated :)

    2. wayne towers

welcome wor kid newcastle is the place to be

    3. Alan Gay

      Hello,
I believe that John McLaughlin lived on Warkworth Avenue in Whitley Bay, which is off Norham Road. I do not know the number but I am fairly sure of the street. You could confirm it by looking at the electoral register.

  15. Toni Summers Hargis

    1. Geordie Directory
