Terms Of Use For Registering For Your Geordie Web Space.

First & foremost, please remember that this is a Geordie orientated community! Each and every new ”Geordie” user will hopefully help make everyone’s visit to the various Geordie communities an enjoyable one.

Have fun with your space. Do Not use your Geordie space to bully, harass, defame or exploit anyone.

If you use the community (Geordies Space) service you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Basic Terms & Conduct.

1. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your user name.
2. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
3. You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. International users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.
4. You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links (‘Content’) that you submit, post, and display in the community.
5. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
6. You must not, in the use of community pages, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
7. Only use the service for the purpose it is designed, if we find that you are using the service to store large files we will enforce a fair use policy and limit your storage space.
8. Do not post or link to pornographic or sexually explicit content.
9. You are not allowed to display your own Google ads on your Geordie space.
10. Any loss of or damage to data you upload is not the responsibility of the owners of the howaythelads.com domain name & services.
11. Use of this service is at your own risk.

Violation of any of these agreements will result in the termination of your Geordie Space.

While Geordies Space prohibits such conduct and content on its site, you understand and agree that we cannot be responsible for the content posted on our web site by third parties and, despite our best efforts to delete such content as soon as it comes to our attention, you may be exposed to such materials and that you use the service at your own risk.

We reserve the right to modify or terminate your Geordies Space, however,  we would only do this if we believe you have not followed our terms of use.

We reserve the right to alter these terms of use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the terms of use, we will notify you via an appropriate method. What is a ‘material change’ is at our discretion.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

We reserve the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.

HOW TO REGISTER

• You must be a GeordieWebsites follower and be followed back by us to register for your own Geordies space as this will help us to verify that you  are indeed Geordie and not someone simply intending to spam other users.
• We will not hesitate to delete the account of any user who adds links to their blog that do not adhere to either our Geordie links compliancy policy or our community terms detailed above.
• To register for your own Geordie space use the reply box below, giving us as much detail about yourself as you want us to know including of course your twitter name.

This is not an automatic system, so there may be a delay between you applying for your Geordie space & us allocating it to you. We will inform you via twitter direct messaging how to access your space.
