Gateshead Millenium Bridge – Coming Home
In the year 2000 the floating crane, The Asian Hercules II carried the Millenium bridge from the AMEC yard at Howdon in Wallsend up the River Tyne to its permanent home from Gateshead Quayside across the River Tyne next to the Newcastle Upon Tyne Quayside.
