Geordie Electrician Begins To Light Up The Toon

Less than a year ago an apprentice electrician working for Newcastle City Council was playing & impressing in midfield for the East End football club Walker Central FC on the outskirts of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Now the Geordie midfielder who turned 19 on the 17th of March 2011 has been  promoted to the substitutes bench at senior level for Newcastle United.

The move from Walker Central to premier league player has come quick from the ex Kenton schoolboy after former Magpies scout Brian Clark (who also mentored Shola Ameobi at Walker Central) managed to get him a trial at NUFC only last Summer.
